The recruitment process usually consists of three rounds of interviews.
The first two rounds will be a 45-60 minute interview comprising of an introduction to Crescendo, a discussion about you and your experience (based on your resume), a case study and time for you to ask questions.
The final interview will be with a Director from Crescendo Partners. This will be a 30-60 minute interview involving a discussion on your experience and why you would like to join the Crescendo Partners team.
Generally, you will be advised whether you have advanced to the next interview round within 48 hours of your interview. After the final interview round, we will contact you to notify you whether you have been successful and will be made an offer to join Crescendo Partners.
Case studies are generally based on real business problems or situations drawn from the interviewer's consulting experience. There is usually no specific answer required. Instead, you will be assessed on how you go about dealing with a problem and structuring your thinking, rather than on the specific answers or conclusions you come up with. Your ability to deal with problems creatively in a short period of time is critical to being a successful consultant.
